A mask quotation is useful only when you know what it includes. One listing may be a complete interface; another may contain only a replacement cushion. Compare the exact model, size and supplied parts before comparing the price.
Ask for an itemised quotation
Check whether the price includes the cushion or nasal pillows, frame, headgear, elbow or short tube, and any size-specific clips. Ask the supplier to identify the exhaust arrangement and confirm compatibility with your prescribed equipment.
Request the total payable amount, including applicable taxes, delivery and fitting charges. Prices and availability change, so this guide does not give a universal India-wide price range. A dated written quote is more useful than an unsourced online estimate.
Price the parts you will actually need
Ask separately about replacement cushions, headgear and other serviceable components. Confirm the exact part numbers and whether they are normally stocked. A lower initial price can be less useful if a worn component cannot be obtained later.
For a household budget, compare scenarios: replacing one cushion, replacing headgear, and buying a complete mask if several components fail. Use the supplier's current prices rather than assuming everyone needs the same annual replacement allowance.
Replace for condition and instructions
Inspect for tears, cracks, loss of elasticity or persistent leak despite correct fitting. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance and replacement guidance. A sales calendar is not a substitute for checking the condition of the equipment, and a mask that looks intact may still need review if it no longer seals comfortably.
Replace only compatible parts. Do not modify vents or fit a visually similar exhaust component that has not been approved for the interface.
Put fitting terms in writing
Ask what happens if the first size or style does not fit, whether opened items can be exchanged, and what charges or deadlines apply. Do not assume a standard trial period. A careful fitting, clear cleaning instructions and access to compatible parts make the quotation easier to judge than the label “premium”.
